Job Role:
- Arrange vehicles as per dispatch requirements
- Manage transportation planning and execution
- Coordinate with transport vendors on a daily basis
- Negotiate and finalize freight rates
- Calculate freight cost as per distance, weight, and vehicle type
- Handle FTL & PTL booking
- Ensure timely vehicle placement and dispatch
- Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery
- Maintain freight records and vendor database
- Resolve transportation-related issues
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience in freight rate calculation
- Strong vendor coordination skills
- Good knowledge of local and outstation transportation
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel
