GAINDA Phenyle was Established in early 1945’s by Mr. O.P. Sabharwal and is now managed by his grandson and 3rd generation Mr. Akash Arora

In the early 1945’s GAINDA Phenyle (Black) is introduced, a homogeneous dark brown solution of coal tar acid and phenolic compounds with a suitable emulsifier. The product received ISI certification in 1984, further strengthening its credibility. The popularity of GAINDA Phenyle can also be seen in a unique advertising example where a local train running between Delhi, Ghaziabad, Mathura, and Aligarh, displaying 48 banners of GAINDA Phenyle, was popularly nicknamed by people as the “Gaindachhap Train.” This clearly reflects the product’s strong market presence and customer trust, as its powerful germicidal quality made it one of the most preferred disinfectants in the mass market.

Later by 1990, GAINDA White Disinfectant was introduced in the market It is a finely dispersed homogeneous white to off-white natural pine oil-based disinfectant, which quickly gained popularity due to its effective cleaning performance and refreshing fragrance. Over time, GAINDA Naphthalene Balls were also added to the product range. Continuing its journey of innovation, 2016 the company launched its Disinfectant Surface Cleaner – GAINDA “G-Kleen”, Glass Cleaner – “Gainda ShineX”, GAINDA Toilet Cleaner, and GAINDA Premium Floral Floor Cleaner,further expanding its portfolio of modern household cleaning solutions.
